Hi! I’m Megan.

You wouldn’t have to spend much time with me to learn that I’m a southern girl, born and raised. Although I can’t hear it myself, I’ve been told that I have an accent that gives it away.

I am a believer in Christ. He is my Lord and Savior and without Him, my life is nothing.

My best friend also happens to be my husband. We’ve been together going on 10 years now, and have been married for 8.5 years. People always say that the first year or two of marriage is the hardest, but I never understand that. Don’t get me wrong, marriage definitely takes work, but Nathan and I have never had a bad year. Everyday with him is an adventure and I wouldn’t change a minute of it.

Four years ago we embarked on the journey of parenthood by welcoming identical twin boys into our lives and we have been going non stop ever since. We had our third little baby last year, and I still proudly hold the title of a Boy Mom . They bring so much joy to us. They keep life interesting and unpredictable!

In all my down time (Ha!) I like to go junkin’. What does this mean exactly? Basically I like finding old junk at estate sales, auctions, yard sales, the side of the road, you name it and then re-purpose it and bring it back to life. Our home is filled with unique treasures that all have a special story.

I also LOVE decorating, like interior decorating. My husband and I own Hartman Homes LLC and through our business, we design, renovate, and flip houses. This gives me the perfect avenue to let my design ideas come to life.

My college degree and (other) job title shows that I am a respiratory therapist, but ever since I became a mama it’s not my full time job anymore. My full time title is “Mommy” and there isn’t anything better. I’m able to squeeze about 8-10 hours a week or so in at the hospital and the rest of my time I am privileged to spend raising my sweet boys and working our real estate business.
